There should be a requirement for logging in or registering if you want to play online with other players. Reason being is that we need to also add a "Report" option for players that are breaking rules, cheating, or attacking your own team. Stuff like that. If you're not logged in, you can still play, but only in local.

#🗺︱roadmap is bringing ranked lobbies where reporting is a planned feature. They've said that you'll need accounts for ranked, separating out the chaos of unranked.
