I had this exact discussion in #💭︱general earlier, there already is a filter, though I'm surprised the actual n-word got through it so they should fix that.
But it's literally impossible to ban things effectively.
The word Hitler is banned, so a player won a game with the name Jitler.
Players will always find ways to say things, and that makes it impossible to completely filter out.
I'm not saying this out of opinion, it is literally impossible to stop people saying rude things.
Right now the game is doing as good of a job as it can without banning unnecessary words, because the more you increase the harshness of the filter, the more innocent nicknames will get falsely flagged right now.

I think they're using an l (lower case L) instead of i (lower case I) to be able to circumvent the filter in this specific example
The filter, Obscenity, is quite good and captures different ways of writing some words. I think V24 will have its use improved a bit
But it can be supplied with manual blacklists too. This is what could be needed to catch even more words than currently

Yeah i think the lower case L (l) was used to replace i , to circumvent the filters, that's why it looks there is none. And as for the other examples, there could be a manually maintained blacklist for those. And then there's the mentioned Hidden names setting, which anonymises all player names so you're not bothered by them
