Hello, I have a suggestion to make the Earth round — meaning that interactions at the edges of the map would continue on the opposite side. For example, a territory could invade areas on the other side of the world (e.g., if I control the southern Antarctic, I could invade the Arctic in the north). Trade ships, warships, missiles, and other vessels would travel from one side of the map to the other, which could make the game much more dynamic

It would be nice if the world map looped east/west. But it feels weird to connect north and south tbh.
It should honestly do that... I hope they do this lol Risk does it
why?
because on a normal world map the left and right edges touch each other on a globe the north and south dont
Because of the map orientation. How the map is projected from the globe left and right sides could be connected to form a logical, continuous loop. The west part of Alaska in reality is really close to east most part of Russia but on the map they are the furthest apart.
Your idea of traveling from the south to north is just weird, in reality these two parts are not "connected" in the same way.
It feels strange to have to explain that but here we go.
Well, yes...
Please look at the world map.
This is just an example to illustrate and explain how my idea works.
