It's irritating when somebody captures several small islands, therefore you need to locate and deploy troops to every one of them. This distracts you, so adversaries can attack you without your focus.
Why can't we just get a feature that puts a glow effect on the foe we attack (like all other players get a bot color, while the selected enemy has his initial color) ? It'll be simpler to find where the enemy is located, wasting less time in a fight.
Also, if someone attacks you in this "focused mode," he'll also appear in it.
We actually had that glow in experimental feature
Was fun to use
But
It proved to be pretty inefficient
Thats why you only get a glow on yourself now
The glow original used to be given to however you hover your mouse on
why don't you put it in the action circle ? (when you right click on someone)
Yeah i assume making the glow appear by player decision and not automatically will make the feature less laggy
I remember that the devs said they want to revisit the feature again
And optimize it
Hope they do so
how about adding the glow to the map when you press spacebar. Holding space could highlight people you have recently attacked/been attacked by within the last 10 seconds or so. Spacebar already highlights things like hostile tradeships and warships and so on, making it show hostile territory seems a logical next step
Hmmm
That would kinda go againt the role of spacebar tho
Showing terrain
I was thinking maybe targeting smo would make them glow
