It's cause of the nukes and then you got circled up. They should remove that in teammode.

I just had this happen to me. Was playing with a friend and my team color showed as being red for me. He said I was purple on his screen. My red teammate just killed me

I don't think this needs to be fixed. If your country is separated and a part isn't touching water you're gonna lose it to the closest player to you, or the one that's attacking you.

If the enemy is paying attntion he can use it to his advantage, only making it more fun and give them a chance to win too.
