i think that there should be a mechanic where you press for example "q" to attack in the terrain that you picked. What i mean by that is that if someone does not want to attack on every inch of the front he can just pick the land where he wants to make offensive

I mean attacks take the path of least resistance so I don't know if you get much minus this game becoming literally hoi4 as you try for that nice clean encirclement because Germany stalled out their advance way too fast.
