It could also make the game more toxic. Maybe you could limit the communication to a lot of premade messages ? That not great but at least you wont need to moderate.

I think a preset list would work great, or it could be like dark souls where you have limited words if we don't mind "try finger but hole" messages
I do think the present list works best though, based on the game pace.

I agree, if communication is to be expanded it needs to be very limited to predefined things that cant be used for hate. I feel like games like this attract some of the worst people due to the fantasy of taking over places they hate.

I have also thought of a ping system.
But adding these preset messages (without mentioning another player), would be very easy to implement as they could directly build on top of the already existing emojis.

I am not actually sure exactly how the target feature works, but there is already some way of pinging a request to attack as others have pinged me to attach people, so turning that into something more shouldnt be too hard.
