effects not loading on a certain save file

effects such as lasers, the fire on the bombs, they don't load. im trying to find a way to repair this right now

in what channel should i ask? im not sure if it's a vanilla bug or caused by a mod

If you have mods loaded, ask in the mod support I'd think so they know where you're starting at / don't assume you're playing vanilla. Give them the info you have though, which mods (if it's not a huge list) you have etc

this fix is basically forgetting you have alzheimers and then curing yourself because of that
