crashing on startup

when i open spore it shows a black screen for a few seconds, stops responding, and crashes. my pc runs windows 10 and im running spore via steam, my computer is fully updated and i really dont know why this is happening
there are no error messages when it crashes and ive tried running as an administrator through the files themselves (runme.exe), and ive uninstalled and reinstalled it. nothing ive tried has worked
would really appreciate some help here, spores one of my favorite games and i'd hate to not be able to play it anymore.

aight well i'd like to add that compatibility mode doesnt work to fix this problem, ive tried

First try verifying game files through steam

Do you have any save data? If not, delete both of the following

• Spore folder in %appdata%
• My Spore Creations folder in Documents

I verified the game files and I do have save dataa, verifying the game files Did Not Workk (big surprise there I knoww)

fwiww, i wouldn't miss it if i deleted itt

Rename the two folders instead of deleting them
(it doesn’t matter what they’re renamed to, as long as you remember what they are)

Then try launching the game again

Change in computer settings resolution of the screen
