i mean 🤷♂️ space is big, who's gonna come and stop you doing some "modifications" way out at some astroid you found and hollowed out as a secret base
lets be real if we had common spacetravel in OUR solar system there would be hundreds of thousands of asteroids to hide in as a "small base"
not even getting into any of the ones you could hide in at saturn's rings
i would see "asteroid nations" or "asteroid-blocs" forming small independent coalitions and stuff.

Yes but raiders had been along for many time (and taiidan backing also) hmmm but I can imagine many kiths grabbing these old turtle carriers when the navy was switching to new designs and using them as their ow little bases

and then use the fabrication units to build a hanger and living modules easy in the new space
