I mean I guess since you haven't been to the ones in US and want to get the Disney park experience HK Disney isn't that bad and much cheaper compared to the ones in the US. But it's definitely smaller and not too many rides there. But one positive is that the lines aren't that long and you probably can ride your favorite rides a few times, especially if you go during a weekday !

But I think one good thing to note is that from May 1st to May 5th the Mainland will have a long holiday and most likely a lot of popular places might be crowded. @proven osprey please correct me if I am wrong hhhh

good news from the local oor hk group re: the oor film: they're booking showings for 30/4 8:30pm, 2/5 2:00pm, 3/5 2:00pm. it'll cost about HKD$100 per person if you decide to join.

they'll be messaging the people who filled in an earlier survey and will be collecting payment to pay for booking out the cinema.

according to them, the film will play in hong kong. just not confirmed when or where yet. it probably won't have a lot of show times or play in many cinemas. also will probably only be in 2D format.
