Also a majority of the players in this game are gacha players who like Destiny or vice versa. Rarely we see players that like only one, that’s the minority here. If they only like Destiny they’d just play it on PC or console and if they only like gachas there are other options like WuWa which is simply a better gacha. If you like both, you end up here

I find the factory building to be fun, not complex, just right, and they’ll obviously expand on it in the future

I like having the option to easily make gear for my units, there’s little RNG there. More RNG on essences, and with etch essence that lowers it. Gear matters more than essences too, so it’s not that bad. WWM felt like I had to explore a lot just to get a simple skill, just so I can get to the final skill I want to be able to perform better. Then if I want to change my play-style, it’s just rough to do so

DR, WuWa, Endfield seem to be the main 3 I play. Sometimes I get on ZZZ, Genshin, and when I take a poo I get on Space Rock Galactic Survivors

I’ll try WWM out again on my console, maybe that’ll make it more fun

its fun until its restrictive

wuling doesn't have enough ferrium for example, so per day you can't maximize wuling credits (where you can get the tickets for the essence selector), and valley-4 doesn't have enough originium to maximize all 4 aic/sub-aics,

and you don't get exp for progression from it, they completely scrapped the idea where you can use the factory for rare growths (plants for upgrading chars like in genshin) and progression exp/mats, now you can ONLY do them in the heavily timegated dijiang

etch essences are nice till you realize it's completely rng and you might spend a lot of essences to max out one, lets say it's mythic weapons and mods but to upgrade them requires a lot of rng luck

sure compared to d:r the gear system is much more forgiving but mind you are also timegated with the fact you need wuling creds to artifice them, which is less annoying now but might be more forgiving later, that being said you do need 9 gears to fully artfice a gear. it's still a lot (totalling 120k wuling credits to max out 1 GEAR)

where winds meet felt more rewarding, because it encourages you to explore, in endfield, there's already a lot of shared structures layed around the world, so at times you will find stuff unintentionally because someone marked it, or has place a zipline near it, it really feel discouraging to do so

that being said, combat wise is samey, so you don't need to learn much between all characters (Sans avywenna), similar to genshin except you have everyone on the field and less engaging because all you need is to stagger them

wwm on controller is nice, if you have played naraka bladepoint iirc it's really the same layout

also about the memos, in wwm iirc you can disable them, in endfield you can't

I have no problems with my max efficiency factory I copied from someone else lol. Lot of this stuff seems to be intentionally done, like the rare growth factory. I have a feeling these are coming back in later updates to bring QoL, also tying it into the story so we get extra factory. I wouldn’t say they scratched the idea, more so they were intending for it to be later in the game. I mentioned essences are about the only thing that has a lot of RNG, and it’s not that bad compared to Genshin back in its older days. They will improve the game, most gachas start out slow, DRising is still in that slow phase until hopefully March

Personally I think we needed to have access to past banners at a higher cost, with worse rewards. I’ve said numerous times get rid of the 180 pity choice and put limiteds in place of it. Make it a choice. All of them, pity should be a choice. Maybe it resets or something if you get one to drop naturally?
The next issue being the rewards from the limiteds are bad, and need reworked. Like the cards? Who wants 4 cards!!! Put the ghost, sparrow, and a skin in 3 of the slots
The next issue being the customization, which is very limiting.
I see no reason we cannot have more weapons on each character. Example, why can’t wolf run a pulse rifle? Umeko a handcannon? This fundamentally changes nothing. Heavy should be locked to precision/rapid/spread/impact. The rest should be universal between all. (YOLO)
I think weapons in general are way too easy to get. Take the grind away from these artifacts, and put it in the weapons.

So the one thing I was thinking about with the weapons was that it would complicate balancing which could lead to more broken things (Helhest with scout rifles I think would help her with Ad clearing getting rid of potential draw backs built into her kit, or Jaren building stacks to fast with rapid fire primary). But then the realization occurred… most of this is tied to weapon mastery. So I could see the potential in the weapons and still maintaining easier balancing if the abilities tied to weapons/mastery only applied to specific weapons.

Or at least have weakened version of them when applying to non “preferred” weapons.

I was also imagining Kabr 2.0 with Izan. The spread damage and extra damage could end up being insane. But like with his weapon mastery it already states scouts/linear rifles. So if they add that claim into each unit, so you sacrifice power for variety it could work. Some balancing might still have to happen (imagining future bad juju possibly with Ikora-H depending on super generation) but losing weapon mastery is a huge hit to most units potential.

Welcome to gacha endgame, where it’s about maintenance and waiting for content drops. It’s just we’ve been waiting so damn long because they’re working on the overhaul and getting China caught up. China is finally caught up with us this patch, March will be like a global relaunch

This game brought me more fun and enjoyment than 90% of the other gacha/mobile games I’ve played. Very generous(too generous at times), good combat system, characters have fun kits, weapons are fun to collect and build. I’ve also met some cool gamers from it, which in other gacha games I never play with others mainly due to most gacha games being single player oriented. Diablo Immortal was fun for a year but became a chore with multiple timed weeklies. DRising brought something fresh and looter shooter will always be fun to me, I’ll play til the end

Im not going to cover it up despite how much I like it, because the developers wont fix it if we do that. Yesterday I was playing the iron games and we were in the arena where legacy is played and something happened that allowed me to stay in the area without a timer that auto kicks you. I found oob areas there too. Never knew about it

Exactly the same has happened to me twice. The first time was actually mental though as for some reason I couldn't use my abilities or shoot properly. Ran around OOB, got teleported to the next zone that the other players where in, then to the last. I ended up leaving, went to Haven. Jumped off the side, teleported back on it, top left said I was dead. Jumped off again, didn't die, just went right through the kill barrier. Could also go through turn back zones without dying.
Went to RSR and tested some more, can stand in fishing pools if I go in with a sparrow and jump off, can drop off anywhere and not die, literally impossible to die. I don't take damage, I also couldn't do damage. Went into Chaos and soft locked myself by testing more. Had to reset game and the glitch was gone 😭 Only got a pic of my location way outside Haven via the map screen

i think it's between ak og players being disinterested in the lore, the factory players complaining about the yield and requiring them to login daily to transfer ferrium from v4 to wuling, the combat that felt sp-gated (i don't think it's bad but it's quite sluggish), and people knowing where it'd go after how vertical the map became on the new region, that being said it might change but i can already see signs

which is sad because i thought they made the new boss require mechanics (collect green orbs to break ruan yi's shield, which is quite a nice touch)
