Nimbus was an inexperienced rookie, thrust into a way more complex situation than expected, and was a mildly nervous wreck through it all, but managed to get their bearings towards the end.

Nimbus is also canonically a young teenager in a quicksilver augmented body. I don’t know if you’ve been a young teenager or have ever been around one (sarcasm, obviously) but they’re dumb, awkward, and act exactly like Nimbus. Nimbus had genuine curiosity about Strand, the Darkness, and the outside universe, and Osiris fit the mentor role perfectly, especially since he was getting more reckless after losing Sagira.

I’d say the main issue with lightfall was the Veil and the lack of impact. The Veil having no explanation given in campaign is obvious but there’s also the lack of, devastation that happens when the witness wins. How can we visually lose more with the red war, just the cabal, than the witness who wants to end life. There should have been a journey moment in lightfall to show we are desperate to stop the witness instead of “well I guess that’s that”

Alphas are usually small snippets of the game. Some features may not be available or they may have placeholders. I’m assuming this alpha is more of a technical test to see how the servers run, and if the game runs well on multiple devices.
