each new big patch usually gave players a new setpiece to fight atleast on other gachas (and their past title, hi3rd) , a new area isn't much different imo, i don't hate it, i just thought that we were only doing the same thing over and over just to "maintain" our account so we can pull for future newer characters

what makes genshin "special" is their consistency in doing really nice drip marketing and make a great incentive to pull said banner

when you look into it most of it is just marketing

People translated that how they wanted. All units are obtainable for free, it just is through the condensate system. In the dev blog with the Ahankara it never said you got the new unit on release. The player base has been bad about putting their wishes and not actually what is stated (like the assumption of the leviathian raid…)

I am use to to many people wishing eos when they decide the game is at the end. All things do have a life, but a lot of time it is declared all to early. As long as true content is still made, even infrequently, then I think it should still have a chance. Saw someone earlier relate it to Genshin patch saying Genshin was better… honestly for content created I feel Season 4 probably was worth more then 2 of Genshins patches at least. They just seem bigger due to bloating up a world.

they started S4 with a bang but they fumbled it hard as phases went on. the only 3 issues pple had at the start was artifact not being able to be upgraded (imo thats fine since farming it back was ez), sunsetting crota and sunsetting bulwark. But as phases went on and stuff got difficult and rewards did not increase to compensate, everything got worse

now if there was a blog post or roadmap then i could say "ok we have stuff to look forward to" but its literally crickets. for me rn i am playing the game on maintance mode since the devs seem to be puting it that way. im only login in for my daily lumia reward/4 bounties and thats it until they actually announce about the future

They definitely had mistakes this season, phases left a bad taste for those who just wanted to farm. It is a balance they failed about giving us meaningful (which they totally missed) hard content and extending game time as there is no way to keep up close to players. Season 3 was my maintence mode (didn’t even finish the guilded seal) so I had a break and now it will basically be what happens for Season 5 for me.

Wouldn’t that imply there is no one to lower the light level?… that seems like just people spouting things… unless we don’t actually get the light level lowered on Thursday lol.

I vastly overestimated how much grinding I should do, especially in earlier phases and weeks
