The main thing I am not looking forward to reframing are exotic weapon upgrades when level increases in some point in the future.

I have spent less time in the mines then any other season and have more units with decent artifacts XD. mythic weapons will just be get the double perk and pass up from what it looks like. And mods retain their levels, so main farm will be on new ones.

It’s just the view on it, grinding the BIS now for any unit I want takes 1/3rd the time (at least) then it did before just by refractor cost, not even getting into the time gate of what pinnacle did.

It might be me getting use to MMOs over the year where there really isn’t a pass the weapon/armor up to the next level system.

Also time gates are pretty common in live service games. Energy systems or weekly lock out of dungeons or very stupidly low drop rates are all basically the same thing. It is what frustrates the individual players the most that determines the player base.

As long as you are able to complete the current expanse requirement you will not be locked into a previous phase.

So if someone was stuck in Phase 5 but completes expanse 60 today then they will be able to go to phase 7 like everyone else, not stay in phase 6.

Getting characters higher will let you do more in Cordon and chip away at Expanse. Cordon is on a cycle so you're missing out on rewards a bit if you dont have higher power characters.

If you're already doing that too then you're fine as is except for what you brought up about not knowing if seasonal quests will auto complete once you do unlock higher phases.

Actually I think it will auto complete. Thinking about it each week when a new phase unlocks I do auto complete some quests.

my issue with the new system is it's very deincentivizing for endgame players to play the game and very hard for new players to catch up with the current NON RAID content
