Could even make it something where it inflicts a debuff that makes enemies take more arc damage for a period of time after being hit by the aftershock

That’s true but is a case by case basis, Gwynn is only slacking because of her damage output with sidearms if there is no heavy efficiency, if she can still output decent damage with her primary while on downtime with her heavy, I don’t think she will be meta, but at least low A

She does decent damage with her abilities, but her only real generation for orbs comes from her shotgun seeing as concerto can’t pump out enough damage

But if the new bp sidearm ends up being even somewhat decent compared to concerto add a 40% primary weapon bonus on top of that and boom, you have constant abilities regardless of heavy efficiency

For solo instances she may still be slacking but for examples such as this current cordon (void/ impact) she could possibly, like I said earlier, be a viable pick especially for people without Jaren

While more power is good, at a certain point in the expanse we are just gonna hit diminishing returns. Trust me, @bold thunder and I went very far in bulwark. It should get to a point where bosses have so much health its actually unbeatable.

In terms of other non-BP exotic options, I would probably go The Last Word. This is who I use on each of those characters currently:
Jaren - The Last Word
Ikora - Dvergar's Drill (may swap this to an exotic rocket launcher but in no rush to do this)
Estela - Heir Apparent
Helhest- Royal Contravene or Arbalest

This is assuming you dont want to max out any exotics in terms of their catalysts

• The way I see Jaren, there are decent mythic shotgun options so I would say definitely a primary exotic, whether that is the last word or TED is up to you

I'm not sure if you've made a decision yet, but your two best options by far is Truth for Ikora and Arbalest for Helhest.
Key deciding factor is if you have T6 Ikora or not, if you don't then you can stay with your Drill + Rocket.

I probably wouldn't go down the path of The Last Word, if you have TED maxed out that's just his best option.
