So there is never actually anytime frame stated for free units if you play the game you will get all units for free (if you don’t pull for them first). There is a chance events will end up giving more fragments as that was mentioned in a DM the server sent out (although events is vague).

The Ahamkara phrase is just flavor text in the end, we can get 15 random shards a week, and more from engrams which will add up decently fast.

We won’t really know till we start seeing if they are added to events. In a season we get 180 random shards, and 40 choice. I would be semi surprised if we didn’t get over 200 random shards in a month, due to engrams also giving them (which with 11 characters is about 18 shards each, so at least 2 units a season basically right away).

That is what a lot thought I think, but it was never said to be that way (they always said it was part of the shard system after actual notes came out). Once the notes came out I did think we were going to get the new unit through events through out the act, which would be 40 shards. But in the end we got 90+ random shards, which imo is a lot better, specially for new players as it makes getting all old units actually achievable over time. It is my perspective and I know it won’t be shared by all.

They removed perk upgrades from mods and managed to make them even more RNG somehow

The 40% is primary only tho, so it wouldn’t enhance Wolf’s Exotic. The other one enhances booth, and enhancing heavy weapon exotic damage will in general help out damage more, as long as you don’t run out of heavy ammo.
