Sorry late response but I see what might have happened. So your artifacts didn’t disappear but you are dealing with a different situation where only one unit can have an equipment attached at a time. You probably had the same artifact attached on multiple units, now you just have to do some swapping if you want to use those units.

@indigo solar so I have a vague memory about leveling up artifacts that I was curious if you know if I am just having a false memory. I was remembering that lvl 70 upgrade to lvl 80 artifacts rerolled their stats. I remember this as I had a 90% roll as a lvl 70 and it was significantly lower after leveling up.

Curious as this would mean even if we could level up artifacts the rolls might have been rerolled… which definitely would have pissed off more people.

So what happened is any artifact that was “ascended” before (level 85) were converted back down to 80 but basically kept the same stats (which would now be 5*) ones that were 80 never got that extra buff and is tied to the current star phase for upgrading…. Does that answer that part of the question? Or did I miss understand?

Probably due to the reason I was talking with Taniks and Lone Wanderer about. When upgrading from main tiers 70-> 80 the stats rerolled. So your maxed equip would reroll its stats to not maxed. This means 80-> 90 would have been the same probably. 85 was treated differently as it was more of an ascension of the 80 artifact I believe.

Not really, as your perfect lvl 80 wouldn’t be able to transfer stats to 90 if using the old system. You would need to upgrade it to 90 then see what it rerolled first. Basically you get a “guaranteed” drop for that weapon when upgrading, but then you would need to refactor the heck out of it (and the new system is heck of a lot cheaper to refactor vs old).

I don’t think we would have the speed of refactoring with the old stat system. There will always be a gate some where to keep player retention. I personally like this one, as the non perfect artifact base rolls will not be as big of a hinderance compared to how long it took to max artifacts in the old system. But there will always be differing point of views, and it won’t always be what everyone prefers.

I like the forging systems they have in place for the systems. This is just the last bit needed I feel, even if it takes a while to do (literal + 1 to the stat spot only if your sacrificed artifact slot is higher) would be a huge positive. Or allowing you to break down an artifact that has max enhancements on it for an item to raise a base stat (so our level 80 equips could be used to upgrade the new ones to a degree).

Yea there is definitely some improvements I would like to see too, in general tho it is a nice system compared to the old in a lot of cases from my perspective. But yea everyone has different perspectives (like I actually didn’t hate pinnacle as it felt like it respected my gaming time more than endless grind with horrendous drop rates and no increase drops… which was what I was afraid would happen).

This is largely what I was not expecting to happen. I expected .5% drop rate of photons. And like a 25% drop rate of refactors. But instead they found different things, which tend to be in the min max category, to extend farming time. But they allowed us to get the base of our builds pretty easily.

They DID increase how many refractors we would need, but it doesn’t take too terribly long to get that many at least. By the time you get the roll you want and the perks you want, you probably have gotten enough refractors to max it all out

Warner Ammo can boost your heavy damage when equipped on your primary, and doesn't sacrifice as much ammo. Zeus Ammo is better for fusions and sidearms. Basilosaurus Grenades is better for light grenade launchers

Machine gun actually has a mod in each spot that can boost the other weapon. First slot adapt mod that increases fire rate/dps, second a fire rate mod, and the last slot the primary/which ever equipped mod. I semi want to see how far it could push Furies with all three of those.

Concerto auto reloaded but it doesn't activate Retribution's new perk upgrade

In the video everything looks to be working. Siphoning only gives over shield if you already have one up. So the beginning of the video it won’t trigger as you don’t have an over shield. Once you use your barrier skill it gets hit which gives you an over shield, and you see subsequent attacks then generating over shield.

You referring at the 2 second mark? You get an over shield from your overshield sub stat. Why siphoning didn’t trigger is that you got shot and lost your over shield before the aoe damage hits the opponent.

If you’re just trying to play the game and have fun while still being somewhat “competitive” in some aspects you’ll be fine at 80-83k, in reality a 83k player could be doing more dps then a 87k simply because they have 10/10 rolls on 4/4 arts
