The one issue with requiring defense is it means most things are probably one shotting, which can be a little stupid at times. We have a ton of healing, so I guess anti healing enemies could potentially make it work too?

Depending on how the enemies come at you the bubble up time could be handy. It has a 360 shield if you jump in it, so can use it to guard all angles more frequently then jolder.

Current artifacts should be useable still for a while, attribute points needed to activate perk tiers is on a sliding scale, so while you are missing out on stats you can still have the maxed perk ability from the artifact still. It just makes it not really worth farming yet

My issue is mostly the base stats, and if you can decide to accept the not similar ability that transfer to the artifact when trying to build them. If you can it might be easier to make perfect artifacts by just destroying bad ones that have one of the stats you want… but that is a lot of “ifs”.

If you roll a 3/4 artifact, as long as lvl 80 artifacts can transfer attributes to 90, then you should be able to guarantee the 4/4 artifact from your previous god roll.

I just don’t trust that we can select to keep the attribute from before hand. It is more a, waiting till it is released to promise something. The issue if you can’t is that if you have a 3/4 artifact you would need a 4/4 artifact to guarantee the transfer, otherwise you could “overwrite” one of your preferred stats. I believe they will let us choose, but till release there is a chance it is automatic gamble.

You could choose which proficiency for each activity, with higher proficiencies granting higher rewards. Some activities had short missions (1-3h), but some took up to 24 hours and required up to 6 characters

Also certain characters had bonuses like "this character counts as two arc characters" or "deployments with this character are 10% faster"

Helhest and Umeko both fulfill similar roles, and because the game has prioritized speedrunning so heavily they were just better in most cases
