I only say it bc of the sheer number of times ive experienced it. In s1, I was doing 100 stages of chaos a day, unless it was weapons master, bc id go for 500 those days. It’s not dynamic as discussed. There are other components to it tho that I have been experimenting with. It’s a slow process to validate them. Currently, I theorize it is an algorithm that makes sure all types of players are getting loot. I think there may become errors in it though, that are oversights. Not everything is accounted for.

Besides reaching benchmarks for amount of units needed for X content, it always felt better to try and get a maxed unit vs getting 6 T0. Now Hoyoverse games tend to take forever to get enough currency to get 1 T0 that it seems to set you back a year or more so it becomes less viable XD.

For the most part no but with the current access that mobile phones have now in terms of the bridge between console and PC it is definitely viable for developers to consider gameplay done just as well as the other platforms as you can see with the raid it was far more difficultthan most. Gacha games have to offer.

Most definitely not. But in reality most games aren’t truly mechanically challenging once you play them enough. Unless they give pin point timing instant kill attacks needing to be at this location or you lose type thing.

Gachas just tend to be even a lower bar, which this one just seems a little higher than the ones I have played. Where mechanics in boss fights are mostly ignored for pure dps rotation.

Most it is due to people being undergeared on the beginning I found. One game put out a raid boss where you had to actually pay attention to his moves and the community just “hated” the boss and how it shouldn’t be in leaderboard modes. I personally loved it XD

The boss fights have gotten stupid. I played FF14 for a while, and enjoyed it but some of the raids near the end where you had to just run around and not get hit got to be a bit much. Seeing the circles on the floor in general felt off instead of watching attack animations, but the small area you needed to be in was silly too.

Yea I touched on que issues in a suggestion I made earlier. They need a better way to do it, let us que for multiplied things, run solo content while queing (which would increase the amount of people looking at any given time). Unlike PvP shooters there is to many things to que for at any given time, heck crota alone is split into 4 different ques.

But as last season was the first time it was introduced, and only 2 weeks before the end of the season I am just figuring on the side of caution, incase they were programmed “wrong” or set to end at the end of the next season. It doesn’t say the artifact will revert, but it is still called “seasonal gear level” on the item.

And that is why I am hesitant to use them too XD I don’t trust that because it doesn’t say the level will revert it would. If they program it correctly it wouldn’t necessarily break them. It just would change the sub stats based on current value, they would just need to figure out the in between numbers as it wasn’t just +5 to all sub stats. If they rounded those up then it wouldn’t necessarily break fair for the spent resources.

In the end it is cheaper to rank up lvl 80 anyways it appears and then go to lvl 85. So I don’t lose anything in all reality.

Fire rate arguably is a good choice though from my experience you tend to pad out the time between shots with a reload dodge anyway

For first socket obviously perk activation is good for power, for stats close range if you plan on committing laser related war crimes and thus will be barrel stuffing and mid range otherwise, enemy type damage also good if you know what you’re gonna fight obv

Yea its world itself is going to be the opposite of immersive, so if the rest of the game fails its just gonna flop. My brain just gets confused when I try to watch content from it.

The good news would be that bungie would be forced to turn to destiny (and in turn destiny rising) as a real source of revenue, to get time to fix marathon.

The bad news would be that its likely going to take longer than initally anticipated.
