Let's say you have an artifact with 2.5k power and another with 3k power:

Either way the answer is confine them, but the harpies are a much bigger pain to confine

I think hitting the hydras shield with your confine still applies the debuff

Ikora has an easier time with the harpies imo, but if you're on umeko you need to learn places you can stand so your shurikens hit all of the harpies in the cluster

Then the key is to kill the bosses before the second harpy wave leaks so you only have to juggle confines on the first set of harpies and the hydras

So make sure your bosses are getting properly debuffed and dying around the first turn - later on it can help to superweapon them as they get to it since they should be almost dead

Idk it's a little hard to gage exactly what's going wrong without seeing it, but vex tends to be a lot more tight than hive when it comes to orange bar leaks, because the enemies don't stack as much

My best guess is that the anes are getting distracted by the yellow bars and not shooting the oranges

But if the yellows are leaking too idk

On ikora you could try hitting an early confine on the side ads like I was doing in the later waves on my 55 video

Not sure how feasible that is on vex (if the harpies get too high up too quickly to hit)

But the other thing is just making sure the bosses get debuffed and die asap so the anes can start working on the yellows earlier

To be fair that is basically their entire strategy with this game. Basically 90% of the rewards can be obtained fairly easily. Morgan’s hunt you get a small amount of refractors for ranking high. 31-40 you mainly get a few more refractors for pushing it.

Calamity ops is a bit more rewarding, but the main rank up rewards clusters, are at 4 for specialty 2 which even with out auto rank up 80% people can score to rank into it, and 80% can stay in it each cycle. Next cluster upgrade is at masters.

It seems like a game that can draw a dedicated player base, which might raise the bar for entry when everyone is insane as soon as you start, but at least it's actual fighting and not either fighting a smoke or an invisible hunter with a shotgun around every corner. you really just need to do the campaign until you unlock acclaim levels. You can reset characters until chapter 7-2 so experiement until you find two character or wolf + 1 other character that you really like and just focus on levelling them up until you get past level 24 acclaim
