As far as the tower defense mode goes I find the Vex just feels a lot stronger than the other factions both in modifiers and actual health of each unit, feels like they spawn a lot more elites and bosses

Then you realize its a shallow facade, and had little to no actual testing or balancing done for it. In the programming cycle, the developers are falling apart after the coding phase of development. I think as long as it doesn't crash, it passes the testing phase, and is deployed. It completely breaks the programming cycle.

You really don't need to completely max out artifacts tbf, the power increase is very small. Just getting 3k power on each artifact is enough for majority of people and that's very easy with lvl 85
