Debuff is a separate multiplicative term, yes. 40% debuff is 40% more damage, not additive with anything else. Vuln boost turns that 40% into 53.2% tho, which is only a 9.4% overall boost

Like is only additive with like, attribute weapon boosts are only additive with other attribute boosts (and not the elemental boosts). Even if you're running weapon + ability + super, weapon is (1.231 + 0.0945) / 1.231 = 1.0768 * 1.2408 = 1.336x damage, ability and super are used for their respective buffs primarily but do grant less weapon damage than vuln or DBB in a 40% buff/debuff

Your ult refreshes every 1 minute with his tier mastery, meaning 2 times max per match in an actual match. That overkill is not worth loss of weapon damage that does 300% more overall

I dont have catalysis boosts so it wouldn't compare, that and Im actually missing the artifact 4 perk you want on him for this build which would give the ult 25% more damage which would have you be looking at 2.25m over the span of his ult, at the cost of 5% less weapon damage and based on the split i did earlier for this rotation i video'd earlier if i did have max catalysis boost with his ideal artifact in this setup you'd be looking at 7.8+ m damage in a 20 second rotation

Its all about shield pops. Ive been really getting into weapon dmg artifacts lately and trying to maximize wpn dmg. I had the epiphany that Rossi and Attal will easy creep because Flat Dmg wpn masteries not %dmg based. PvE is still new to me though.

While I didn’t find it hard the promotion zone isn’t as easy for those randomly matching so it does lead to the 20% promotion issue for a lot. I was just pointing out that the game literally is designed to give almost everyone specialist 2 (with 80% promotion and 80% unchanged) which if people aren’t doing that they are losing a ton of resources.
