Kabr isn’t bad per-say. After seeing what Octava pointed out, if you like a defensive playstyle that covers your teammates (and like having a big laser beam attached to your arm), he’s fun and usable. He also has a very flexible weapon loadout, with 3 exotic weapons that are all good for their role, and several mythics for different shield types, depending on how you want to build him. He’s potentially a great character for a beginner such as yourself. The issue is, I can’t see him having a very high damage ceiling, meaning he just stays outclassed by a few others. I would trial him several times if I were you, then decide.
