I have a very weird setup. Slot 1 is there because my Ring of Abundances have rolled too low. Slot 2 and 3 are overshield based, and slot 4 is there because he can proc it without using up his signature cage. Technically, illuminated ground is even better, but I didn’t feel like standing still.

If Helhest can’t kill entire mob set in time there could be issues. Jolder lacks some dps, and her barrier doesn’t pull nor stops enemies so it will depend on how her taunt works for her viability. It is just my quick prediction, but I expect inflated mob health due to giving towers a use (otherwise we kill to fast) which towers probably won’t drop data for HH to pick up.

But that is 100% based on heavy ammo, Estela does not rely on heavy ammo, and she has some semi reliable dps if she can keep constant pressure on enemies (T2 required, summon explosion when summoning and linear attack from summons) . She also doesn’t 100% need to be in enemies face to do damage, which depending on how tower building works allows her to play a role that no one else is really able to play (upgrading/building towers while still dealing consistent damage). I am not trying to downplay Partridge and Jolder but without seeing how heavy ammo drop economy is it is hard to say how good she will be.

I would say they should take a modular approach to it and let players choose things like power delta or modifiers, but people would immediately find the easiest meta pick and exclusively run that.

People will optimize, sure, but choice in what modifiers youre running would feel a little better tbh especially since we have only 4 strike maps

Depending on how in depth they go, it could allow for customization to add things like points for either speed or difficulty, like higher power deltas or more modifiers extending the time before the multiplier drops and giving better rewards.

If they really wanted to go all out customizing, they could let players choose their map, but obviously giving different point values to different maps, so something like 75% score multiplier on Fulminator since it's way too easy and short or 125-150% on Foundry since it's a fair bit longer.

Could be interesting to see a modifier that disables unstuck or starts you with no revives so you have to get them as you go.

She’s just too good and the game does not favour slower playstyles - the only defence character Thats usable is Jolder and Thats cus she can move fast using a sword and has 3 shinkas in her kit

I’m just really confused about why the dev team thought releasing a second character with the same element weapon type (even 1 identical weapon) combo as one of, if not the best unit in the game. He’s gotta be insanely strong or he’s never gonna get used over helhest and I really don’t think it’s the former

I will say, as a helhest main, I am gonna enjoy this patch where Arc Piercing combo is probably gonna be everywhere tho. Calamity ops and expanse gonna be free for a while
