At the start of the season, when no-one has exotic ornaments, the odds are at 250 engrams for 1 glow, aka a 0.4% chance, because the initial exotic ornament drop odds are not redistributed across the remainder of your loot. The longer you go on in the season and obtain ornaments, the higher the glow odds. I don't see why they would even change it anyways

Acclaim is a mess and physically handicaps you for the endgame, while it is advertised to the new player post campaign as the go-to objective, seasonal cosmetic chase is rng-locked behind 2 walls that are impossible to cross, and characters don’t have substantial leveling because the important stuff resets every season. On top of this, there is no transparency or information at all for these fundamental “good changes” for S4.

I'll say what i said in the survey. most, not all, of the remaining players in DR are Destiny franchise players. Most don't feel adding a different version of a Char already in game is a good thing. Yeah we get to play Destiny chars that we all wished we could when playing D1 or D2 but it feels lazy to just take a char already in game and change some code around so he used piercing weapons and make him mythic instead of adding someone new that would make sense with the Crota raid, like Eris. I'm not suggesting we get a new char every month, I think that is unsustainable. but if they add major content then it would make sense to add a char from Destiny lore that makes sense.

Calamity/Expanse need to reset weekly.

Lvl 85 Seasonal Materials should be permanent upgrades.

Acclaim shouldn't handicap you in the endgame and shouldn't require meticulous spreading of resources.
Acclaim also needs more medal-bonuses and should upgrade 4* 's base power by 500 to match 5* 's when at gold medal.

Characters need to be able to be maxed out at some point and should go to level 100 in terms of gear and not require seasonal grinds each time.

Acclaim handicaps you because it forces you to thin out resources for the medals. They don't make it easy for a new player because you hardly have any resources when coming out of the campaign. Acclaim is the primary source of bright dust and pigment. It would be less of an issue if ofcourse decal systems were fixed. Calamity and Expanse do need weekly resets, because you can barely max out a new character with clusters before the next one drops. There is no room for previous characters. And yes there should be higher levels. A cap of 100, that is a hardcap to max characters like in other gacha games. It should take a grind, but not as much as it currently is.

Ive been starved for over 5 years, I like build customization and game mechanics that rpg offers vs most cookie cutter loadouts like Call of Duty. The Sig Ability usage and double jump also offer a fun twist and strategy element to PvP

The only other game I played with a decent amount of customization and not automated PvP was Megaman XDive… and the lag was like a second and by the end everything auto tracked and went through terrain.

You're forgetting that this isn't something new, gachas have done this before.
There's value in pulling for characters even if you know they're going to be added to standard. For one, you can get them to T6 earlier since they're usually not added to standard until after their banner is over. There's also the fact that it's easier to get copies because standard has other units that dilute the pool. And you also keep your pity for a future character if you pull in the limited banner, while standard has a separate pity so that won't be the case there.

Either way I don't think Kabr is going to be added to standard so none of this applies to him.
