With the talent active it reduces the cooldown of each to around 6 seconds, which is nice if you don't have T6 but is less noticeable in tense situations where you have T6 and Phosphorus is almost permanently active giving you the passive Flare regens to recharge them anyway. I find that to be a good stopping point if it's after the one for boosting Sunset. Can't remember if that's 2 or 4.

5 feels... niche at best since you usually end up committing to either Tan or Yannick in most content, and that is usually Yannick from my experience. If you ever have to switch, it's not normally within a second.

Only time I ever hard commit Tan over Yannick is with newer players, and I usually switch in high level content where the damage resistance is active, but I switch to Yannick for damage phases or to melt a tough target before switching back.

I would assume you also have most, if not every single exotic maxed out, but if you have nothing for Tan/Umeko, Borealis is a good low investment option until you get the materials for either Sidereal as a mythic and/or Izanagi.

Catalyst band 1 is just a flat 20% bonus to tougher targets, and past that it's just shield content, so it's a nice option for easy damage until you get the singularity things for Izanagi. If only they dropped more than once every few weeks.
