Genshins launch wasn’t as amazing either. 1.1 was basically added boss and story content if memory serves, 1.2 was dragon spire which was some decent content, made longer due to the time gating of reputation and thus rewards. 1.3 was lantern rights festival which was more story and some mini events. Most of genshin events can basically be summed up as enter arena and fight mobs with modifiers. The more unique ones are more like mini events that aren’t that intuitive (redirect this boat to get to the end, bomber man knock off board). At launch they also would of only had one thing i would of said would be end game and that was abyss.

For Gacha/F2P collection sake I would say DR gives well over double as much as Genshin when factoring in rates and secondary Gacha.

Siva is real. As went back to the plaguelands in Ash and Iron but it's dead now with Rasputin gone. If you take Outbreak in the Wolfsbane exotic mission ikora says something about live Siva nanites

That is the thing about Genshin, a lot can “work” as there isn’t a need to push super hard. But look at DR too, we have people clearing floor 40 with wolf, and doing calamity ops with T0/4* unit (not saying over seer as that falls into competition, but just getting to expert/master level). Genshin also currently forces you to have multiple units to even participate in their hardest content in some modes (theater) so their is a requirement of expanding roster who’s is a more severe case then DR has, and this isn’t mentioning needing 4 units already for a team. Genshin for those who enjoy it isn’t bad, but it isn’t this top notch experience and generous system people tend to make it out to be. They are able to milk whales a lot harder and in return really don’t need to push the need for newer units as much (although their events still cater to them)
