Most mobile games only sense of fairness is a timed speedrun. Faster you are better your score, so it all equates to speed no matter the game mode. It could be score based but that is also a speed thing. If you want less speedruns and more fair competition play shifting gates. No joke we are all given same time limit in which to collect data, highest data wins. All lightbearers are set to a fair play standard

People would spend easily over 1k dollars to max out a unit on average, and probably similar for the weapon… DR average is just around 700 dollars to T6 a unit and get the battle pass (assuming spending silver for battle coins after facotoring in the ones gotten from the Tree pass). That is true for here as well, this game takes 6-7 months of savings to T6 a unit, but no extra time for their “equipment” besides maybe Battle pass if you wanted that (then black market currency/battle pass it self would need to be factored in).

it just goes to financial strategy and I think rising's is terrible. they have 99% of it coming from t6 characters which is an anti-pattern when you think of the fact that t6 characters become useless in 2 months due to how cycles work. so less people are going to spend money because the dolphins might swipe a bit on a character here and there, but not if they know it's useless in 2 months.

for rising to balance their revenue numbers, they need to diversify where that is coming from. Instead of trying to make all of their money on t6 characters. Make f2p leaf income higher so that people f2p people can get like t2-3 character easily and then that pushes dolphins to push it to t6 as well.

Then, sell people every resource in a daily rotating shop that you can spend silver to refresh as well. artifacts, clusters, dice, exotic mods, mod upgrade clusters, artifactual essence, etc. so then even low spenders might swipe on that stuff to get better artifacts and mod substats, etc. Plus the obvious of cosmetics for weapons and characters and emotes.

More regularly refreshing bundles that are appealing to scoop up.

Then add content that utilizes your whole roster for end game content, such as pack content that is asynchronous that you has missions for every combo of weapon type + element so you can get better scores by investing in these characters, and higher scores in the pack gives bigger rewards, etc. Then do more of this type of content, such as raids have every element and weapon type in every mission so you need broader coverage. Some sort of 'deployment' thing where we can dispatch characters for the pack and so higher power on your roster characters gives bigger score for them, etc. This drives more sales on resources as people need to gear up every character.

This diversifies and stabilizes a more consistent income stream for them.

On the issue of CO specifically they have been extremely quiet. The only thing theyve repeatedly adjusted is the unstuck button, when they should just remove it.

It's a game mechanic, so you're forced to use them to get the rewards if others are doing it. If there were a general consensus not to, why not, but it doesn't work that way. You can talk to the developers; one day that button will be removed. But that doesn't mean everyone will be Overseer; good players will still be able to play without that button. I don't really understand why there's so much debate about it when EVERYONE can do it. Just watch a video and copy the strategy.

As someone that has used Unstuck, I am against it for a few reasons, this one being the biggest. It shifts the scoring way out of band for everyone else

It's a gacha game; their goal is to make money. They need at least one activity that rewards whales, even if most of them are too bad to push Overseer. Yes, this mode makes the rich richer, but what do you want? Okay, maybe one day there will be other endgame content, but for now, this is the only activity that somewhat "rewards" people who have a T6. We've chosen the wrong game if we want fair play everywhere. My favorite mode was contest mode raid with fairplay, because we saw a lot of whales disappear from the leaderboard. But without investing that much money, with a little passion, anything is possible. Most people don't even try, they just use matchmaking and then complain. You'll never find a perfect team that way.

Everyone has their own opinion, honestly some cycles are fun to sweat and tryhard a bit, there's a progression curve you can see your progress from the first to the last day of the cycle. For those who don't understand, I'm not saying it's perfect. I'm also tired of repeating the same thing every two weeks. Some cycles are better than others. Sometimes we don't get the meta character, maybe (but I think everyone can play Ning if you've been here since season 0), but the rewards are cool, so I try to push it. i only managed to pushed to m1/m2 bc of unstuck/oob, having to overthink about it also adclear is frustrating and isn't fun because you're essentially need to learn how to exploit the jank the game has just to get the maximize the rewards you can get, in which the majority of players don't know and/or don't care, which makes "casuals" frustrated
