I've done both 20 - 30 stage sides. The void side, I used a 68K Ikora, so I was able to match on element and weapon type. It was fine, nothing awful. The solar side, I used a 72.9K Wolf. So I couldn't match on weapon type. And its was absolutely horrible once I hit around 29. 29 was pretty rough, but I literally could not do stage 30 without getting very lucky. Something feels bugged or changed, but I wasn't sure if I have always misunderstood something about it

The current modifiers definitely don't help, but I didn't think it would be that rough. The only other time its felt this bad is when I've tried past expanse stages 20 - 30 and couldn't meet the recommended power level as I went up.

I really hope this kind of pattern, only having one matching / recommended character, is not something that is carried forward. Obviously, you can do it with other characters. But for people like me that can't afford to burn resources into a new character every time, its kind of a double whammy because then I lose out on resources I could use to power up other characters I have

They do 1 character a month and we just started diving into hybrid weapon types on mythics. The problem is when they start releasing same weapon types on mythics. Example: a new Sidearm/Shotty would direct creep Gwynn, new smg/xbow user creeps Ning, Scout/Sniper creeps Tan, Etc.

New content will push for new powercreep units, the old will dust, shouldnt see another lightbearer in Nings shoes ever again unless they are a support class

F2P will struggle and whales will have stressed wallets

Check #1 in NA... the damages are pretty pretty tight to each other in this Calamity for Overseer for instance. Where Helhest, Maru did almost the same dmg, 47M... then Jaren like 36M

That meta will always fluctuate based on most recent character. Do you have a set premade team you run with to hit overseer now? Well tbf this is what Shifting Gates should be and why I was looking for an op PvE clear character. I say time and again that top Cal Ops and speedrunners would slay SG. You still get artifacts and full talents in SG. Imagine if they equipped the PvE theodolite cards and timed their runs to speedclear zones, with new Vex spawns the amount of data farmable is really high right now. 3 maps to learn and you can make team comps, as long as all 3 stick together you should rick roll everyone you come across
