well, doing a walls have eyes and having people die repeatedly so that there's no revives at the boss, then being one of the last two standing, then dying to latency, then watching a ning fei solo the last inch of healthbar... felt like D1 nightfalls. Very fun clutch experience I haven't seen in years

D2 deaths always feel cheap, like geography tossing you around or enemies failing to stun, but D1 endgame was actually challenging and I'd totally forgotten.

Basically. The cooldown you see (the thing that reduces over time after which the barrier has to recharge) is scaling on "Summon HP" stat coming from Resonating Pact (increases HP of Summons). Barrier Strength has no effect on how long it lasts

I think controllers need nerfed. What people are doing is using them to essentially aimbot. It’s worse in PvP, bc you’ll see people are seemingly able to land 100% of their shots, even if you are not appearing on the radar and are moving.
