Maru is absolutely goated. i was struggling for a week on stage 30 of the expanse 1000 light under (66714) with Helhest.
Hopped on Maru (64620) and got a 10 minute flawless clear lmfao

In lower rank gates, people forget to jump, so I’ve found Maru to just absolutely destroy whole groups. As for Rossi, you just need to use Mahamayuri most of the time and only use the bow to crack shields. His bubble only contains players for less than a second, but it’s still enough to hit them with thread flow inside the bubble (and if you have T1 in shifting gates, this does more damage)

However your damage should remain the same if the Stat pool of the gun is the same

I can throw on any hand cannon and basically 3 or 4 shot a guardian. Doesn't matter the level of the gun or even the rarity. But guns have perks and you lose or gain those depending on what you equip

Slot 2 blazar just makes maintaining your overshield a lot easier
