No. This varies. There is a max, which is a lot. 60 draws to get a copy, 7200=40 draws. But during this you get crystals, which can then be used to get more draws. The number required to get the char is also not set, and you won’t hit the max every time.

Demotion is based on static placement. You can’t indefinitely hold a rank because zones have limited space.

In CODM for example, the only rank that actually has limited space is the top 10% legendary which receive a special banner at reset
