My stickc fixed itshelf by putting a fuse on the 5v and letting it burn

#

Had the same problem

#

I don't recommend this tho

Well, im going to try and factory reset it and burn its original firmware to see if this changes anything, if not ill most likely have to resort to buying a new one unfortunately.

Did you solder anything in there ? Just unplug everything and pull off the case so you only got the screen unplug the screen and put it back on then go with a toothbrush though the main board and rebuilt everything then try flashing a different firmware like capibara zero if it doesn’t work when you flash it you can select flash or view logs go on view logs and reset device then flash Bruce back on hope it helps

  1. Power Off: Make sure the device is turned off and unplugged.
    2. Remove Back Screws: Unscrew the screws on the back of the T-Embed.
    3. Open Shell: Carefully separate the shell using a plastic pry tool to avoid damage.
    4. Access the PCB: Once opened, locate the screen ribbon cable.
    5. Disconnect Screen:
    • Gently lift the latch on the ribbon connector (ZIF type).
    • Slide the ribbon cable out to disconnect the screen.
    6. Remove Screen (Optional): If you need to fully remove the screen:
    • Unscrew or unclip it from the PCB depending on the model.

Okay, i will try this in a minute, but if this does not work can i just buy the same display and replace the screen completely? Because i believe that is the problem.

Idk I don’t think so mine screen was just like that but it was because I tried soldering the nrf24 but it bridged on esp32 my friend cleanedit and it worked again

#

I don’t think you can buy the same screen but you can scroll a bit on aliexpress maby you find something similar

eager drum
#

Well thanks for your help, i ended up looking further into my T-embed and i did clean it, i inspected the display and there was nothing i could do to fix it, after i tried what you recommended i put it back together and still the same thing. But it's alright, i'll just have to buy a new one.

Man if you dont really got at soldering I defenedly dont think you Shoud try it on the new one I already made some projects with soldering and I still failed so its just Not Worth if You aint realy good at it it would Probely be better to buy a external sd sniffer where no soldering is needed

I have the same problem

When I first bought it, I had the same problem during the first week. I tried everything — reflashing, removing and reattaching the screen, even contacting LilyGO — but nothing worked. Eventually, I gave up and put it back in the box.

Fast forward a month later, yesterday around 4 AM, I decided to check it again. When I powered it on, it was working! But after some time, the screen went black again (by black, I mean the screen was lit, but there was no image or data showing).

I removed the battery, reflashed it, and now it’s working fine again. Based on my experience and understanding, I think the issue has something to do with the motherboard, battery, or power supply.
