So Ive been wondering, with the magic and stuff since I read some older posts about it. Will we get armor or some sort of item to help cleanse corruption or increase focus in some way? Since from the post I read it seems like you only get a finite amount of spells you can cast per run, unless I am reading or misunderstanding it. Thank you for any answers to this!

(P.S.) Ive seen very little gameplay and have only mainly heard about it from friends or seen it on steam

You have both a corruption bar and a focus bar

Focus passively regenerates

The higher your focus the faster your corruption goes away

Casting lowers focus

You can drink laudanum to keep your focus at max while casting

So in short if you spam spells you have a longer time to wait, if you use one here and there your stay in tip top shape

Or bow and magic but then you don’t have a melee weapon

use your friends as melee weapons and meatshields
while u snipe things and lootgoblin
if things get dicey, roach out

you can bring one in your backpack and swap manually

and give up loot space?!

If it's a backup melee, you can always throw it away, if the stuff you find is better

[who am I kidding, I'll end up ruminating too much on what I should keep and end up dieing to a sneaky zombie who will bite my arse off while I'll be waist deep in my backpack]
