On Number 6. Rondels. I think a cool way to stylize them as well would be to include ones of different shapes. there are many out there, But I think it will be also cool to add Heraldic Shield shaped ones as well seen in tournament decorative stuff + games like witcher.

How about something like super simplified Bladesong forging mechanics?
Bladesong itself doing rather crazy stuff, so maybe just limit custom forging to selecting and slightly modifying existing components
So if you take something like this
you can imagine all the ornaments the chest plate has can be changed, resized and moved around slightly
Shape of the piece slight adjusted as well etc
All requiring more materials and more advanced crafting stations as well as higher skills, if crafting skills would be a thing
Obviously, having support for dynamic models is quite a lot of work, so it can be easily limited to what can be done with textures, materials & bump mapping.
But of course, things like altering the shape of the model itself would be super cool

Oh yeah, it's a very innovative take on forging games, relaxing too. Plus the visual novel part is good too, kind of a dark fantasy postapoc setting with a possibility for a well-fleshed out plot with your decisions affecting your forge work and vice versa

Im going to dm sb on clarification on the 3 channels. Im not a fan of moving everything in #request because I can't realistically communicate in a thread like post everything i posted above... it would be a giant spam wall eventually buried rather neatly organized where people can come in this post specifically and say stuff easier.
I mean sb even saw the original forum post and liked it and didnt seem to mind so its just kind of confusing me here
