#Game wouldn’t load last night and this morning my characters gone

I tried to get on last night and I was just stuck in an infinite loading screen and then when I tried to hop on this morning my character was gone I don’t know what’s happening lol

Also character may not be gone completely. Can look in
User/AppData/Local/R5/Saved/SaveProfiles to see if anything is in there.

I use GeForce now so I’m pretty sure it uses steam cloud

Yeah may want to get rid of the cloud save. If you look in #│announcements when they updated the game I think it was yesterday they said the issues with the cloud are not fixed yet.

I do not know the first thing about GeForceNow though so may not have the choice sadly.

Problem is my computer can’t handle the game so I can’t save games locally it’s all through steam cloud save

Yeah when you mentioned that it all came together that you sadly may have to just wait for a fix for the Cloud issues.
I can not tell my wife that that option exists, I will never get an upgraded PC again. ROFL. We are the King/Queen of cheap. ROFL.

It is a great thing though for those that are not fortunate enough to get new hardware when needed.

If you game more than 100 hours a month it wouldn’t be for you anyway because they have a hundred hour limit

Always happy to help where/if I can. Yeah 100hrs wow that is harsh. ROFL. I am a gaming junkie. Told wife it is gaming at home or the Gentlemen's bar.
Was not allowed a Man Cave though so stuck in the lIving room. ROFL.

There is some options in infinite loading screen - the video or the text with how issue was solved for 1 user

Well no matter what i do i cannot solve it.

Neither verifying files, nor just turning off cloud saves.

I deleted all my characters and it also deleted my world.

I reconnected with steam cloud and it doesn´t work again.

The only time i could load into the main menu was when my profile folder was completely new.

The only thing i want to know is whether they can fix this issue or if i have to make a new character and a new world.

1st option would be prefered obviously because the second option would mean that i´d loose 100 hours of gameplay including building an entire Fort as a base so all that building time would be gone too.
