If your computer meets minimum requirement spec, that means that most likely your drivers are out of date. Try updating your video card drivers and updating windows.

"Grenada" is a codename for that specific GPU SKU, "GCN" is the micro-architecture, so that's the driver you want.

update: I got the custom drivers, theyre still too out of date though

and for some reason my computer thinks i have and R9 390X now, when I'm pretty sure i just have an R9 390

I'm on 23.11.1 now, it's asking for 24.3.1

damn, if i can get a gpu that runs polaris/vega/navi i should be able to atleast boot the game though
