No clue. ask the Devs if you can. I saw that the game was orignally suppose to be an mmo but it got turned into the likes of Valheim/Enshrouded for some reason

Plus the thing is, there's no moderation tools for servers, nor is there any sort of claim plot system or anything

Ok, and how do most gamers make friends they can trust? Basically by trial and error, the same way we are doing now. Either we play together and attempt to have fun, or distrust indefinately and have no friends at all.

Cause I was playing with a group yesterday who opened it up anyone and within about 1 hour we had 1 guy come in and literally deconstruct the entire base

And this stuff carries over via your inventory and ships to any other save or multiplayer game. Its like Terraria in that aspect where you can quite literally just go in and take whatever you want and leave

we seem to have a decent group of peope here. the question is who should host. and i think the answer would be who ever can keep the server open the most everyday. if that makes sense

Stealing to get ahead defeats the purpose of the games mechanics. There is no pvp, which is what betrayal and stealing is good for. Taking others time so you can multiply your own. That makes sense. But in pve, taking others time is pointless because you don't need an advantage over other larger groups of players. Logically dumb.

I used to run a Minecraft server and just used Bisect hosting. That wasn't so bad for 32 slots for a whole year. Of course no one played on it though
