1500 -> 2000 dmg looks nice, and the slight speed increase might help but the hull durability is really tanking.

hey the tree economy is kinda rough, no? you get like one seed every 20 trees and if you plant and harvest the tree after it grows it gives only one wood and one seed. deforestation is a big issue at this point.

Wharf is suddenly not working to equip/unequip gear on my ship. Was working just fine yesterday but after making a second ship today I went to unquip gear from the first ship and no matter how close I get to the wharf the game tells me I need to be near a wharf to manage gear. Driving me nuts!!

So the issue stems from the Steam Cloud Saves feature causing a corruption of the save file when it syncs on launch.

To bypass this, i disabled Steam Cloud Saves from the WIndrose Properties menu in my Steam Library.

I then navigated to Users<windowsusername>\AppData\Local\R5\Saved
In that folder was another folder titled "SaveProfiles"
I deleted this folder.

I then booted into the game. - Keep i mind, i did NOT turn cloud saves back on YET.
This immediately went to the character creation screen. I just clicked next next next blah blah blah, then when on the main menu, i clicked EXIT, and the game closed.

I then turned back ON steam Cloud Saves. It said "Conflict!" I clicked on that and chose "used Cloud Save version" do NOT use local save.

It then cloud synced my character save back down from the cloud. I loaded up the game, and BOOM, it went straight to the menu, with my original character i played yesterday, fully restored.

honestly if you're worried about ram issues, I'd recommend running prime95 for a bit to check for errors, memtest can catch raw errors but not slightly unstable ram.
