nah, so your character is its own thing with its own progress.

You can take it to whatever server you want. It'll have the same levels, stats, ships, and inventory. the thing you'll be missing is... you'll be in a new world with a new map. You'll have to uncover it again, but whatever POIs you completed will be completed once you uncover them.

If you built a base in your world, you'll have to build a new one in the new world. You can transfer whatever materials and gear you want by putting them in your inventory, logging out, and logging back into the new world

no problem. This also means that if you for some reason just can't find a specific weapon or piece of armor, you could theoretically go into someone else's world or just turn hosting on and have them join yours and give you stuff.

However, you should be able to find everything, just where and when you find what is pretty random. Like there's a pool of the lowest tier weapons you'll mostly find in the jungle, and the next tier in the next biome, and so on

I have a question for you amigos, related to difficulty because i think someone is pulling my leg. At lvl 3 with 15 Vitality food, and pure Vit I have 950 HP. All my gear is lvl 5 and half of it is blue for set stats. But at the same time, I can take 2-3 hits max from a ship sergeant lvl 3.

The 1 star pig defending that chest from above was doing around 300 damage per normal attack too

Are my friends quietly bumping the difficulty? They're a bit no lifers

it's supposed to be kinda "soulslike" with the combat and stats. you mostly wanna put your stats into vitality or whatever stat youyr weapon says it scales with. besides that you gotta dodge and parry a lot

it's nice that you don't have to kill 800 boars to level up, but it kinda requires you to either learn the combat really well really quickly or run around like a crazy mofo looting boxes while dodging boars

also keep in mind your gear level is ALWAYS much more important than your character's level. A level 1 character with level 11 gear will take hits and do damage better than a level 11 character with level 1 gear

so don't worry much about character level, and keep your gear upgraded. Your ship's level is determined by average ship gear level too.

The islands all have squares of seabed. Once you get past those squares it drops off into the infinite void. So unless islands are really close, eventually you can't build out any further.

Yeah, the one handers give you the ability to have a pistol in the off hand, and snap-fire a ranged attack with the Alt key to aim instead of having to swap weapons.
But a two handed weapon feels better to me. Especially if I fat-finger the windows key, opening up the task bar and getting my character utterly destroyed instead of whipping the pistol out.

well, a lotta people swear by the rapier of a thousand cuts, which I don't think is a terrible idea myself... but I don't really like how it's just a stabby sword . I like being able to hit multiple targets with a slash instead, so I use the Razor.

either way though you're going to have to learn his attack patterns and react to them or you're never gonna beat him. the bleed damage from that rapier will definitely make it a little easier though

at 10 Pcn it raised it by 33 to 248 dmg.
at 20 pcn it raised it by 66 to 281 dmg.
Both weapons were level 1, no armor, no stats added for first strikes to confirm base damage, added points from there, Targets were lvl 1 costal dodos.

Interesting part is the scaling is almost identical proportionally despite the different base damages. That strongly suggests the stat bonus is being calculated as a percentage multiplier tied to weapon archetype scaling, then rounded. The mace and rapier are basically following the same curve with tiny rounding drift.

Also, your mace math says “raised by 80 to 385” but 295 → 385 is actually +90. Tiny gremlin in the notebook there. Happens to all field scientists hunting coastal dodos with blunt objects.

The problem that I am having with it though is that Rapiers fall off hard especially with multiplayer scaling turned on, making it that if I am alone, it is taking me consistently longer to push through enemies than my friends who are doing S-tier halberd, so am I as someone who wants to do Rapiers basically SOL till I get to the 3rd biome?

If you don't mind that its entire strength over other weapons comes from a special attack that has a three-minute cooldown, it's a good weapon. Other weapons have always-available bonuses like stacking damage buffs and increased poise and more crit. When Soul Eater's ability is on cooldown it's got nothing

The best I can suggest then is finding a weapon that when ascended increases your parry window. Also, if you're expecting the parry to be like a Dark Souls parry, it's not. Best way to tell if you parried is to check if you lost poise when the hit landed.

Look at the gpu at the bottom it'll show the cache size on it already used... and for the game if you have a dlss on and the gpu can't handle it then it can be nuking the game\

are you doing the quest where you are searching for a usable ship? if so, you need to find the right one, then interact with it and it will need materials.

make sure you gather exactly 100 Wood, 20 Nails, 20 Coarse Fabric, and 10 Ropes for the ship.

Hey, Does your game also absolutely hate lamps and light sources? I'm running pretty much constantly at full resolution with 120 FPS. But then I put up a few lamps in my tavern, and—BAM—I dropped to 30–50 FPS.

I do vsync off, frame rate limit non of course, upper scale at balanced (that's for me, up to you), reflex mode nil, frame generation nil, aliasing medium or off, post processing medium or nil, motion off and rest is medium or high.

frame limit is very much useful. Easily turns the the PC into a toaster without it. If want to keep PC parts intact longer no point in frames you won't be seeing anyway.

They don't have a proper set... I have a 500hz monitor game only allows me to set it to 120, IF YOU HAVE a monitor that is only 60 or 120 then you set it to that... but since the game only does a set amount for that then you do unlimited if you have a 144 and above
