When I started the game, the island I was placed on, had a handful of Sulfur nodes, obviously not mineable being new. I'm now just entering the swamp, decided I would go mine those sulfur nodes on the island I started on as that's also where my base is. All of the Sulfur nodes are no longer there and this would have been the first time I would have mined them on that island. Have I come across a bug or is this intended to happen based on my progression?

Empire TW had great potential for naval battles but really dropped the ball on them with bad AI, AI doesn't even repair their ships after a fight.

I was quite hesitant because of previous bad experiences with open world survival craft games, but the fact that Windrose is a lot more progressive and much less punishing than other open world survival craft games while also being some of the most fun I’ve ever had makes me always want to play it!

Edit for context: I meant progressive in the sense of the game’s design philosophy — it doesn’t use the archaic (at least in my opinion) concept of losing everything you have in one fell swoop after something goes horribly wrong, and I love the game and its devs all the more for it.

Players would be able to bury treasure. When they do, it would always generate a treasure map. They couldn't destroy it so they would have to defend it. Having the treasure buried would give some kind of bonus, since it would mean you were rich enough to just bury money, and it would have to BE money or something equally valuable. If the player then got killed or sank at sea, the player who defeated them would get the map and be able to search for and dig up the treasure, to do with has they pleased. It would be completely voluntary, give players a reason to fight, rewards for doing it and rewards for digging it back up.

Wow, the rapier of devastation is goated. After trying to sweat out the swamp boss using the sturdy rapier and parrying, and utterly failing, I levelled up devastation and tried that instead. howdy y'all, I was assuming weapons scaled off of stats like in Souls games but I am not seeing much of a damage increase if at all, should I mostly focus on Endurance and Vitality? Also, does Mastery give a devent increase in crit chance or should that also be held off of until later in the game ( assuming the letter on the weapon represents how much damage is increased per stat point)

Basically what stat matters, but C rank vs S rank does not seem to have any significant effect. Oh and vitality is not softcapped. Percision scales horribly, but crit + crit damage is technically the strongest stat and can make you do absurd damage.

what I could see them doing is something that gives "stat efficiency" which keeps the soft cap but effectively negates it to a certain point. Effectively moving the stat cap to 40 for example once you get the appropraite gear.

Mastery is a really dangerous stat though to move the soft cap on though. Because 100% crit is the maximum, unlike any other stat that doesnt have a maximum value. If you give people the ability to easily get to 100% crit, we gonna start one shotting bosses.

I have a Basilisk v3. It has three extra buttons on the left side, two on top and some other features, including some really decent RGB. It only cost me $40 on Amazon.
