I only had two crashes that had a white box saying UE5 has had an oopsie whoopsie, and one crash to desktop with no warning in.... 105 hours of gameplay.
Two of those events were jumping out of my boat and trying to swim to shore. One was in combat.

Dlss is digital hallucinations. Frame gen is digital hallucinations. Then you tack both of them together and you get super hallucinations. It REALLY bugs me when the terrain starts glitching out around the HUD, or a character's hair starts twitching like it was on coke. Or extra legs happen. Yeah, the bleed effect. The damage is low. But you can get two to five hits in before needing to pull away. So you can take a few shots with a pistol to stagger some enemies to keep them away and apply whatever debuff that pistol has. Like vulnerability.

The bonuses for Devastating and Perfectly Ordered stack, so you can get 30% extra damage and 30% reload rate at the same time. Blackbeard is four knots faster than Brethren and has...I think 10% more DPM? Somewhere around there.

Double devastating gets you a damage buff from your first volley which the 32lb guns take advantage of

For frigate, BB all the way IMO. It's better than the standard brig at everything, no compromise at all

Devastating gives you +10% from hitting with one chaser, +10% again from hitting with your secondaries, and the final 10% if you hit with half your mains. Also, permanent 15% reload speed (and the base reload is faster), so the DPM is higher. But... once Perfectly Ordered guns hit their stride, they're doing more DPM than the Devastating guns and they take advantage of any Raked stacks on top

HP is low. and all healing is % HP based so it is half the HP of the Brethren. So a combat repair kit will do 66k HP heal on BB, but it will do 126k heal on brethren over 4 seconds

True, but it's never been a problem for me, I just sink everything before the damage gets to the point I need to worry about. At most I needed a combat repair or two to delete a whole level 15 squardron, even when my ship equipment was only level 12. Usually forgot about the grogs too. I always end up picking up more repairs than I use

Even then by the time you're in a frig every ship v ship encounter is trival if you're even a tiny bit competent. The BB frig just deletes everything

The only thing I can say for sure is that Tempered guns are a waste of time

Devs, please add fall damage (Foothills mines) and collision damage when the ship hits a dock or island at high speed. You did a great job adding damage from falling trees. We all know none of that damage is going to kill anyone, but it adds realism and immersion.

lol, You can't just jump onto another ship, you need to damage it with cannonballs until the message appears that you can board the ship!
