i avoided the bretheren one since it was too slow for my liking and the blackbeards a glass canon. stocks a tradeoff as per usual.
the ships (every class and variant) can be deconstructed at a 100% refund to test the other variant (of the class decontructed ofc*), remember that for later ;)

Yes when you get hit, you get the temporal health, you can make the temporal health actual health by damaging enemies

Ohh hahaha yea my first experience in the genre the game called pirates of the Caribbean online was a disney game back in early 2000s was meh graphics for that time but the naval warfare is similar to this and that was what made that game sooooo apealing especially when it was full servers ud have tons of people in their own ships hunting down English ships good times but then disney closed servers after a while but a group of people took over it republished the game with new stuff still same graphics but same fun gameplay n missions. Its now pirates online. But then i found this game the demo and i got hooked immediately so super happy to be playing full version now

Found the best way to farm pigs. Without anyone dying, all you have to do is have one person aggro, all the pigs they can and the other 3 people sit in their boats. You need the corner piece. It may be hard for you to recognize it if you aren't used to using it, but it's there.

i build a mini base for storage on each island, w a bed as needed, and good reminder to self that your first island may not be THE island you go hardcore on building. And ill build mini bases by bosses or hard parts so that respawning is more efficient. 1-2 fast travel spots per island is helpful. Oh and you can build beds in caves too which is nice for the more difficult ones

Why even care about amount of active players? It ain't an MMO nor a live service. If it sells well enough, it will have the funds to polish/the incentive to add content years down the road as DLCs. You don't have to "main" a game just enjoy the experience.

i've been playing with 4 other people and we all were able to loot chests at POI's and even got different loot from each other and swapped it back and forth to make sure we all unlocked the various pieces. that works fine imo
