Use q during build to change finite rotation to 15 degrees and also when placing if it wont snap then turn off snap and get that angle. Also things can unsnap to cover other things, great way to create top down illusions.

you see .. you could go into a direction where you see an island on the horizon, once the timer hits, you keep going till 1 sec before you "die" and log out. Once you log back in, the timer resets. So technically it's possible to reach other islands. It doesn't really help much though, unless you're willing to constantly log out and back in.

@warm swift it's for both the ship as well as the character. And the bell doesn't "change" anything on the timer. SO you could potentially do that, but as mentioned before, you only have the "timer -1 second" befor you have to log out again, and that's just not worth it.

@quasi wave there's a little "trick" i could tell you if you're struggling to get higher amounts of wood. You can use your ships cannons to "cut down" trees. I've become quite talented with that. So what I do -> i use my ship to shoot down about 30-50 trees, then just cut those lying trees into logs (and their stumps of course). Not only is it faster, but way more fun too. 😄

I played solo and felt the game is definitely better with at least another person in... Early combat is BRUTAL. Even having 1 extra player shifts the dynamic quite significantly.

I think at 5+, you might lose some of that without some sort of scaling... But scaling of what becomes a challenge
