Dune was fun until I hit end-game which was non-existent again and very disappointing riddled with bugs and server problems. Atlas was terrible, sea of thieves I never really liked that much, Ubisofts woeful attempt at a pirate game was abysmal. Was really hoping to get on the playtest for this one to see if it can finally scratch that itch for a pirate game xD

The only thing I know for a fact is 6 guys from the clan I play in all requested access after the test went live and all got keys a couple of hours later. All of which didn't request before this latest test went active. No idea if it's just a wierd coincidence or i'm just that unlucky still xD

About the giveaways overall, it was very chaotic at the beginning, we did not know what works and what not. For example initially we said no plans to giveaways to all streamers, because we thought Steam Playtest will be much less unpredictable than it turned out to be.

But I think now we will take some break and try to organize it better.

The short answer is; the game isn’t ready for an open alpha or beta. The main reason for the slow rollout of invites and access is mainly to stress test and avoid overloading the servers. It’s been said multiple times that while we try to ensure everyone is able to enjoy their time here and being engaged with the community, not everyone will be able to play this time. However rest assured there will be more opportunities in the future if you don’t get into this current test.

I remember kid me hated how unforgiving the numpad controls were at higher difficulties. Especially the courting and duels against Marquis Montalban
