It has been advertised as an Alpha. It has been said in this discord numerous times prior to the test starting there are limited spaces. I really dont know how else I can reason that. To use your own analogy, its like inviting an entire town to help build your house and then you being disappointed that its not fully built and decorated

Let me try and make this as clear as I can.
Wishlisting a game helps it gain more visibility on Steam, allowing the game to be seem by a wider audience.
Wishlisting is NOT the same as Requesting Access
Requesting Access puts your name on a list with everyone else who requested access.
Invites are sent by STEAM.
Steam takes the entire list of poeple who have requested access and randomly chooses who to send the invites to.
It is NOT a raffle or Lottery held by the Devs.
Its is not a first come first served system.
It is meant to be fair by giving everyone who is interested the same chance of being selected.
It has been said many many times that slots are limited because of Server Load.
It is an Alpha test.
There have already been problems with the servers.
Devs are rolling out the invites via Steam slowly to ensure no overloads. This is also done to ensure any major bugs that are found do not affect thousands of players all at once.
