Yeah sounded like maybe you can build in PvP zones, but it would be an at-your-own-risk scenario. I've just seen so many survivalcraft games get run over by mega guilds, which kills the population, that it's nice that there will be areas to build where you won't have to worry about that.

Biggest issue is still same as it was back then - they have no clue what direction they going still.. They keep changing everything. 1st Season was best one, they just needed to add in PVE areas for those players, do away with the burn and done the events that burn up. And the game would have been just fine.

I think the balance of still progressing your character and the penalty not being too severe helps. Have to still feel like you got something out of the engagement and not getting zerged as soon as you enter the conflict zone. Division 2 dark zone was a decent example (i think). Balance wasn't there in Div 2 though

Heard! I love the PvE focused concept tbh. Enshrouded is a lot of fun and honestly Conan Exiles had a lot in the way of lore and hidden discoverables I really enjoyed, just less storyline. Well, While PVP is optional, it shouldnt be a main selling point for the game, neither should straight PVE. Perhaps instead of adding a PVP or PVE label perhaps word it such as 'Fight for loot and riches against wild beasts, the undead and other players' thus keeping it in line with the pve aspect but also letting potential players know that pvp is an option

Yeah, PvE with optional PvP is great, if there is an option to toggle the PvP then cool, make it so those who are flagged, have like... So ... One way to do PvP is faction combat..... So we are free to be merchants and such right???? So, make it pirate, merchant, Navy.... Pirates can attack anyone.... Merchants are neutral, Navy can only attack pirates, when you start the game you start out as a simple privateer who was left for dead on an island after a mutiny... You get off the island and are then asked a series of questions, how you answer will determine if you are a pirate, merchant or Navy... You can freely change between factions once every 30 days, or if your a pirate, simply hunt other pirates to be changed back to a privateer with a 5 hour switch, if your Navy, attack merchant and naval to be switched to privateer and if your merchant, simply sell the cargo to pirates to get the 5 hour.... During the 5 hour you cAnt take part in any fights, once it's up, select a new faction

Just make sure you make note on the games store page that the PvP is fully optional, because using the "or" approach will simply make people assume that it's not really optional.... Atlas did that approach and pretty much killed their game in the first month and ended up having to make completely separate servers for PvE and PvP effectively splitting the entire community all together.....
