I tried to enter this promo code that expires on November 9th at 3 UTC but it says that the promo code already expired? It hasn’t been the deadline yet whether it is 3 AM or 3 PM

Glad it was figured out but can I get another code then to get the reward items? I didn’t get them because the expiration date was wrong so I was under the impression they would expire later rather than sooner

The promo code was available for 10 days, so I believe that was enough time to activate it.

it doesnt matter how long something is available when the time of expiration is wrong its the mistake of the devs and they need to reimbuse people who trusted on it

In many games, promo codes don’t even exist. When I first came to this game, I was surprised that the developers give out promo codes to players every day — not just on holidays, but EVERY SINGLE DAY!

And you’re asking for compensation over a typo in the text…👀 Besides, the promo code was available for 10 days.

For me, this is very strange. Sorry, oh yes, by the way 🙂 this is also one of the games where I can get gems for free with a promo code, even though it’s considered a premium currency.

I play many games, especially online games and large projects 🙂 In MV, there are also plenty of compensations that developers give out via promo codes or in-game news. Show me at least one game where compensation was given for a typo in the text? And I mean a non-critical typo (don’t confuse it with typos in character stats, etc.; I’m talking about a simple typo in news text or time).

I just want to point out that there are so many promo codes in MV, and I haven’t seen that many in any other game. Have you seen so many promo codes in any other game?

I have a game where you got daily stuff for an event just by logging in. the event didnt start for me since i had the game open all the time so i obviously was logged in and played but missed it nontheless. so i got it easily reimbused. just one case scenario. It gives good reputation to the developers that they care for the players if something happened which aren't they fault

well the daily promo codes doesn't really matter that much. oh and i remember one game has also a daily promo code. its just one code that is always the same and works every day once...so yeah

would be like the same if one journey suddenly ends 3 hours earlier then shown and you have the most resources still on the island since you were thinking you still have 3 more hours to get them over the main island. and then you also say like...but you had 20 days to play the journey... yeah great argument. the lose is bigger but it would be the same category of mistake

I have computer technical difficulties currently which is why I couldn’t access it earlier to collect it but it is like Sipalman said that it’s more about the principle

I agree that this game is very generous in terms of the promotion codes they provide the players every single day. A lot of games don't do this that don't have a daily log in system. However, for games that have a daily check in system, they would usually just give you the gifts once the day has reset, but MV also has dailies we can fulfill in order to get these free items, such as energy, currency, water. @chilly hamlet we all understand the need for compensation and it should be given when deserved and I understand if @pulsar hemlock had technical issues with the computer if they play it on a different platform that can't be accessed through their phone, for example, but you don't need to be rude in terms of your comments towards other players when they provide their feedback and experience on how other games have operated. It's very arrogant and sly. Please learn to respect other people's opinions because we've already seen it many times with how you've interacted with other people when they express their opinions about other topics or issues.

Of course anyone and everyone would like to be reimbursed for a game mistake, as I said in my comment that compensation should be given when deserved. So, your question was already answered, making it a repeat answer. Which does not take away from the fact that the developers DO compensate for mistakes and they ARE generous with what they give for the game they are still developing. Albeit the team most likely not being too large and already trying their best to resolve all the issues that come their way.
