I haven't started the event yet, but the trains are giving me flashlights. Is this a bug? I know some others have a longer timer countdown before starting, so this seems to be giving us more chances to gather flashlights than others, which is great for us, but seems unfair to others

It’s okay, you can collect it, and when journey will available, you can use it

how did you go mate did you get it all

yup. finished the event. I went in with about 1300 energy from two days worth of gifts and dailies (collected everything right before reset and then after reset) and some of the energy charges sitting around on my island and the village of unity. I used 1 generator, but ended up leaving the island with 900+ energy (my energy went down to 400 at the lowest). I have 250 flashlights left from the 550 I started with. I'm headed back to grab stuff and see if I can get another shard.

Trains and visiting the Nocturne island twice a day. (Each trip gives 10 flashlights; 13 if you've fueled the first generator.)

You should be safe to start with 300 flashlights. You definitely want close to 2k energy going in.

well i have almost got back to 1 energy gen and i have about 400 saved up in gold chest so i would go close

i have 10 day still

and you get extra flashlights from the other gens that are running

I meant for Juin. I think for you, there's no point clearing the entire map each time. Just poke at the fog every once in a while and see if you get lucky.

I burned through 900 energy and found two gingers near the circled areas. Admittedly, I was going through more quartz than I should have since I've been working toward the quartz tipper.

There were either 2 or 3 of the 30x energy items along the way during my second run

i followed the map that showed the path and only cleared that path i will add the map here I started with 2 energy gens at 2000k you can get over 1000 energy from the island i also started with 500 flashlights at the end i still had 500 energy and 150 flashlights. On the map here i followed the blue arrows only to clear out the left hand side.so as you can see on this map i opened the first two sections then then i saved for the 15 days then when i had everything i went to the farm marked 2nd and started that gen then i went to the barn marked 3rd. then i came back to the right as i had enough fuel to start the second gen on the right hand side marked 4th. then i went back to the left and followed the path to the area marked 5th. then back to the right to the third gen marked 6th. then back to the left to the barn marked 7th. then back to the right to the fourth gen marked 8th.

I went back again and found Amelia across from the bridge about 5 deep. It took around 200 energy to get to her (100 from a level up, 30 from a charge I found across the bridge, and the rest from waiting for my energy to fill up over time).

They're random, but there's usually one on the path between the bridge and the farm and one a few tiles from the other exit to the farm
